The following ideas are currently in play to help the organization accomplish our goal of making Farley beautiful. Ideas from everyone are appreciated.
Volunteers are vital for the success of our organization. Without volunteers we are nothing but a plan that was never executed.
Volunteers need to be organized into workers and supervisors.
Recruit volunteers using local churches, residents, word of mouth, Facebook and Next Door.
If interested parties can't volunteer as if they can donate supplies like trash bags or gloves.
Volunteers should sign waivers to protect organization and individuals from liability.
Offer volunteer groups an opportunity to "Adopt a Street" in return for their continued maintenance.
Volunteers with trucks and trailers are needed.
Scheduling
We expect most volunteer activities to be conducted on weekend, probably Saturdays.
